Attractive evergreen tree with lush green foliage which turns darker green.  White bell shaped flowers in autumn followed by strawberry like fruits.  The fruits do not taste good raw, but can be used for jams, liquors and beverages  Really good source of late food for the bees.  Good choice of tree for coastal and exposed sites.  Will tolerate hard pruning after the last frost in late March/April.
