Vigorous, dense and busy evergreen tree with large glossy leaves. White flower spikes in spring and dark cherry-like fruits in autumn. A more recent induction of the cherry laurel, Novita is hardier than the common cherry laurel. The standards have an average clear stem of 1.8m. Can be planted at 1m centres for instant impact, but the optimum distance is 1.2m
